TIME FLIES! I can't believe I'm fast approaching 5 years as The Fashion Business Coach. It's always mind blowing to look back on old photos and memories of where you started compared to projects your working on now.⁠ ⁠ Here is my trip down memory lane:⁠ ⁠ 👉THEN: I started my business with nothing but a foldaway camping table looking at a beautiful view of Mt Rangitoto, an active volcano in New Zealand, in an empty apartment. Scared, excited, motivated to make my future happen. I was super camera shy (still am a bit) and put in countless hours in what was then called 29 and September Studio.⁠ ⁠ 👉NOW: Flash forward five years I am so blessed to have met the clients I coach. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy or an overnight success, but I'm grateful to be able to work with clients and help them with their business, while they in turn help me with mine.⁠ ⁠ I rebranded in 2019 as The Fashion Business Coach, was featured in @yahoofinance, Fox 34, and @303magazine, collaborated with @put_into_words_ , @pebblemagazine, @underlines_magazine, @consciousartists_ , and @evanana_au.⁠ ⁠ And finally got comfortable putting my face out there. From 3D fashion, fabric innovation, sharing sustainability awareness, to launching my monthly Discover LIVE series, I'm so excited to stay on top of what's new and continue to provide the best services for start-up fashion designers.⁠ ⁠ What does this mean for you? If you take away anything from my post today, know this:⁠ ⁠ ✨✨If your starting something new, it may feel overwhelming, even impossible. Launching anything is stressful! You will make mistakes, you don't HAVE TO KNOW EVERYTHING! I love June and the powerful momentum and energy PRIDE creates to make the world more inclusive. Truthfully, I always learn something new and I'm a little sad to see June go.⁠ ⁠ For me, I come from a very diverse city. I have been doing a ton of reflecting lately as The Fashion Business Coach hits the milestone of its 5th year of business.⁠ ⁠ Trying something new is always scary. I wouldn't have considered myself a "brave" person before starting this venture, but I certainly do now! And it has been completely fulfilling and worth it! ⁠ ⁠ Each risk, failure, and success builds #experience and I am so excited to help my clients through the same experience for years to come!
