Lilybod

I worked on activewear designs for Lilybod and also helped them to source new materials and transition to a clearer way of presenting tech packs to factories, ready for manufacture. As well as the trend research, trade show visits and designs, I provided full tech packs with measurements, tolerance, construction, etc and liaised with the factory when needed.

You can shop the Lilybod range here.

Belamer Swimwear (previously B | The Beach Brand)

I helped the founder of belamer with their first collection which launched in Spring 2020. The brand creates luxury sustainable swimwear and the founder had some great ideas for their designs, which I helped to translate into a factory ready format. I provided tech packs which included details such as measurements, technical drawings and construction details. Plus, their founder is a member of my Fashion Startup Online Course

We Are Nativ

I’ve been working with sustainable swimwear brand WeAreNative on a consulting basis since their launch in 2017, helping the brand founder with manufacturing questions and support as and when needed.

Designs and photography created and owned by WeAreNative - you can view their full range by clicking here.

Atum Egypt

I worked on trend research, range reviews, activewear designs and textile prints for Atum Egypt, across their entire range of Womens, Mens, Girls and Buys. For the adult products I also provided full tech packs with measurements, tolerance, construction, etc. I’ve developed several collections for them over the years.

If you’d like, you can shop Atum here.

Olivia Annabelle

Olivia Annabelle designed an amazing and original collection, which I worked on as a garment technician. I took Olivia’s designs and sketches and turned them into technical drawings and factory ready tech packs. You can shop Olivia’s collection by clicking here to visit the website.

NHK Factories

I worked for a factory who produce clothing for some of the worlds biggest retailers and major high st brands, helping them with design and product development. My main focus was on fashion tops and I also designed a range of zero waste products which meant the factory was able to work more sustainably and save resources.

Karenes

I worked as a freelance activewear designer and garment technologist to help new modest activewear brand Karenes get ready for launch. I provided design direction, designs and full tech packs with sizing, ready for the factory.

Adriatika Swimwear

I worked with Adriatika Swimwear on their first collection, helping them to translate their design ideas into a factory ready format - providing them with technical drawings and tech packs for production based on sketches they provided.

Here’s another example of a Move Dance project, where I helped with trend research, design and spec sheets for multiple collections across fashion, ballet, athleisure and core categories.

Self Directed

I created this range of yoga clothing, using 3d software which allowed me to quickly try out new design ideas which update on the 3d mannequin in real time.

At the completion of the design phase, the patterns can be graded and exported ready for the factory to use. Measurements, colourways and other details can also be exported for use in tech packs. I’ve been using 3d design with select clients and found that over 60% of them made changes to their initial plans after working with me on this, meaning they reduced the number of samples they ultimately needed for the project.

Self Directed

I created zero waste designs and patterns for a factory suppling to major high st labels and wanted to push this further by using 3d software to test out new ideas quickly and see results in real time. All without the need for physical samples or materials in the initial sample phases - therefore saving time, cost and resources.

Self Directed

I worked with a large dance retailer and helped them launch a new range of leotards for both professional dancers and hobbyists, inspired by activewear trends. As well as creating the design concept, design developments and final collection, I also provided detailed spec sheets with construction information and assisted with fabric sourcing. Unfortunately, I’m not able to share the designs or photography from the actual project, (as is the case with many brands I work with), so instead I have created a similar self directed project for my portfolio.

Self Directed

‘Ocean Depths’ is a sportswear inspired swim range for SS2019. Featuring elastic trims, chunky zips and mesh inserts. For this collection as well as creative direction and designs, I also sourced suitable fabrics and trims, which were sustainably made.

Self Directed

‘Anglaise’ is a Spring/Summer swimwear collection which uses pretty broderie anglaise and feminine ruffles. For this project I did trend research to create the concept, designed the garments and print.

Self Directed

For this project I did trend and market research, created the concept, designs and prints. The collection is designed with fashion conscious, body confident millennials in mind.
